Sep 9, 2007. #1. hello to all, i have a doblo jtd 1.9elx which has done 22,500 miles the problem is that the engine management (amber) light comes on now and then it can go for days without it on then out of the blue it will come on for 10min or a little longer. please if anybody could advise me about what is wrong.

The plugged into the computer and found that the DPF needed changing - they did this and gave the car back. The engine failure light came on again and started making a whooshing
flashing oil light is a indication that oil degredation is low.oil change is due. Just could book your self in to your dealer and ask for a oil change service. they cant refuse this as it is part of the service requirements set out. ie 12kmonth service which may or not include a oil service. ps dont forget to use gen parts in all areas of routine servicing or you will naff your warrenty.
FIAT DOBLO oil filter change interval. Got the 1.9 diesel 7 seater family doblo had it serviced at 12k now reached 18k without a oil filter change (no warning lights and seems to be running ok) is this unusual. Mrs_Gs 1.9 JTD . Every 12000 miles new oil new oil filter new fuel filter new air filter.

Can anyone recommend an oil change/ service reset tool for a Doblo 1.6 16v Multijet. Just planning ahead & weighing up the cost of self servicing against garage prices.
