Camping. Obwohl La Gomera ein Wanderparadies ist, gibt es auf der ganzen Insel nur einen einzigen Platz, an dem Camping offiziell erlaubt ist. In dem fast ausgestorbenen Weiler El Cedro besteht die Möglichkeit gegen eine Gebühr von 2 Euro neben der Bar La Vista zu zelten. Die Fläche für die Zelte erstreckt sich über recht schmale Terrassen.
This area of La Gomera is moist and cool and the forest is very impressive. Good network of trails starting in the El Cedro area. There is a campground and restaurant in this little hamlet. Many visitors come for the day, but we stayed at Casa rural Los patos (a lovely and well-equipped house) and were able to walk to the trails.
